ADD YOUR VOICE

By crafting a fabric garland to amplify local events, you’ll be creating a powerful visual through-line to underscore that our rights are on the ballot and help inspire women to get to the polls.

DIY GARLAND KITS

The McHenry NOW chapter will send everything you need to amplify local protests, rallies, concerts, and tabling activities.

Kit includes

  • Pre-notched chiffon fabric for easy ripping
  • Heavy duty elastic
  • Sticky, trackable CTA QR signage
  • 1,000 palm cards

Your kit will make

  • 40′ city block-long garland
  • Elastic line can be cut (and retied) at any point
  • Lightweight and adaptable
  • Packs tiny and unfurls in seconds

FUN TO MAKE

Creating a fabric garland is a joyful activity that builds community and drives engagement. Many hands make light work. Consider enlisting ally organizations to help or piggyback on a existing community event.

How does the craft project feel? Check out our recent Arts4Impact activation at Highland Park High School.
